Digital Photography Courses | Photoshop & Lightroom Training

.

Welcome to my photographers training page.

I know there are training courses out there that have 10 – 20 people on the course and that’s great, this lowers the cost for everyone and makes it affordable to those on a tight budget – but it also cuts down dramatically on 5 key areas which ultimately cuts down severely on what you get out of the course.

1.  Small intimate workshops make for strong friendships and relationships between the attendees – you will make photographer friends and keep in touch with and grow with, push you to succeed, if there are 15 – 20 people there this is  not going to happen.

2. Your shooting experience is limited and it becomes a bit of a scrum to get the shot, your models are looking every which way and being directed my too many people.  If you actually get one on one time with the models its going to be very short, if the instructor is with you, 15 – 20 people are being ignored.

3. Your time with your instructor is going to be very limited and they wont be able to give you the time you need.  One on one time with our instructor will make for a better workshop for you as they will know what you want out of the day.

4. Questions and answers suffer with bigger groups, first off because smaller groups encourage the asking of questions you feel you really want to ask but think are a bit dumb, if there are only 3 o 4 people you will ask it, if there are 15 people listening you wont ask the questions you really want to.

5. Your time with the model is limited and building a rapport with the model returns much better images, when your in a small group your models will remember you, and see you so much more often throughout the day that by the end of the day you will have built up great rapport and the photos will show this.

We have therefor decided to limit all our courses to a maximum of 4 attendees only

All our our courses take place at our studio in Worcestershire, there is a travel lodge less than a mile away and if booked a few weeks in advance rooms cost only £19.00 per night.

I am happy to create or tailor workshops for individual groups so is there is something specific your looking for please let me know.

Starting in February we are also gong to be offering 1 day  per month of One on One training at your location – so you can get me to come and visit you and solve problems at your location.
