Hello there, I am David Purslow and this is a little about me

My love of photography developed in my early childhood. My father was an avid amateur photographer. I would secretly take his Minolta SLR and a Yashica medium format and play with them regardless if they had film in them or not. One day he caught me and was not happy to say the least, he went out the next day and bought me a Kodak 35mm SLR of my very own.

My interest in photography and video continued to develop. In 1989, working under contract to the BBC (British Broadcasting Company), I attended the BBC Television Center in Evesham, Worcestershire where I studied E.N.G (Electronic News Gathering). After leaving the BBC, I became a stringer for various networks, and have had numerous video clips shown on the BBC & ITV News.

I moved to the USA in 1994 and continued to work freelance. My video and photography work has been seen on Fox News and other local networks.

In 2001, working as a consultant, I photographed the entire collection of Madonna's personal items being offered for sale at Sotheby's.Com. The images were published in newspapers and magazines world wide. The sale coincided with the launch of the American leg of Madonna's world tour 2001. The photographs were showcased on an AMC network television special entitled, "Celeb vs Celeb".

Today, my main area of concentration is photographing people. I specialize in Portraiture, Children, Weddings, Fashion, and Glamour.

Hi, how are you doing? - I am Nikki Purslow and this is a little about me.

Just like most women I actually have 3 full time jobs, I work as a sales consultant in the telecommunications industry (so if your looking for a GREAT deal on a mobile phone - email me here)

I also take care of all the day to day running of our photography businesses. David does what he does best, takes photographs and plays on his computers but its my job to make sure everything else gets done. I generally run the diary, take care of bookings, make sure you get exactly what you want as quickly as possible. I also assist David during photo shoots and weddings.

My third job is probably the hardest of all, I have to take care of David. Yes its true he may look like a fully grown adult but I am convinced he still believes he is just a teenager - If I am not there to keep him under control he would be on his computer until 4am and then up and working again at 9am.

We recently moved to Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire and got married on September 9th 2006.

I am a HUGE Winnie the Pooh fan and a true romantic at heart. I love wedding days and I love helping out at weddings - Its probably my favorite part of the business.

We met typically in a pub in Bewdley in Worcestershire. We became friends quickly but then Nikki went to Majorca for 8 months working. One day whilst shopping in Sainsburys, we bumped into each other and quickly became an item. We got married 2 1/2 years later in Kidderminster.

Today the 2 of us run both of our photography businesses - more about the other one in a minute. We live in Pembrokeshire but travel all over the UK for bookings.

We love to travel however its kind of a busmans holiday as David always takes his camera, camera bag, tripod and laptop. In the last 3 years have been to Canada, France, The USA, Ibiza, Cyprus & Corfu.

We have a collection of exotic pets including Reggie a Bearded Dragon, Jakie a Tokay Gecko and about 1/2 a dozen Tarantulas. - All of that an a 6 foot Penguin that keeps guard in our bedroom window !

We are very passionate about what we do. I (David) firmly believe that photo are the key to memories. I LOVE taking photos and I LOVE the reaction people have when they see the end results. We specialize in creating memories its that simple. We don't care what the subject is, if you want a lasting memory we want to help you create it !

I have a very distinctive style when it comes to portraits and typically shoot them wherever you want them shot. I don't like the normal run of the mill studio type photos and that's not what I am good at, so if your looking for that kind of photography - we are not the people for you.

Recently we have started to offer Pregnancy portraits - This is proving very very popular, whether its clothed, semi naked or nude I take my time, respect your requirements and work with you to create exactly what your looking for.

Nikki is training in photography so she can take over the pregnancy portraits for ladies that do not feel comfortable with a male photographer.

We also offer a Private and Confidential photography service that is aimed at those who want slightly more sexy and glamours portraits of themselves to be taken by a professional photographer. - These make great Christmas, Birthday and Valentine presents or just keep sakes for yourself. I hasten to add, we are talking nice glamourous portraits similar to the Maxim / FHM / Nut's lads mags style of flirtatious imgaes, NOT PORN but sexy.

Ladies if your partner is a solider fighting abroad we are mote than happy to offer you a P&C photo shoot at 1/2 costs - We will even give you 5 x 5x7 photos for you to send abroad free of charge ! - My father was in the army and our boys in uniform are doing a fantastic job.
