Hello there, dp here from www.davidpurslow.com- I offer wedding and portrait photography for Birmingham and Worcestershire.

David Purslow Photography has just arrived in the Birmingham & Worcester areas, originally based in West Wales I relocated to Hartlebury just outside of Kidderminster in February 2010.  I am a professional wedding photographer with over 10 years in the wedding photography industry.  My style is a mix of reportage, documentary and traditional wedding photography wrapped up in a shooting style that is very modern, fun and artistic.  I love to create stunning and beautiful bridal portraits, family shots and what I call my signature images – these are visually stunning and emotionally powerful wedding photos that make for great wall art.

What does Boudoir Photography have to do with Wedding Photography and why is a Birmingham Wedding Photographer offering it ?

The answer to that is simple, at the moment bridal boudoir photography is very popular.  Brides have always looked for something very special to give to their fiance either on the actual wedding day or on the night before the wedding. Around a quarter of my brides choose to have a boudoir session and I even get inquiries  from girls who recently got married and the option for a shoot was not available at that time.

The idea behind the bridal boudoir kind of photography is to create something exciting and sexy to share with the man of your dreams, a little teaser if you like.  The kind of boudoir photos I take are more akin to sexy and erotic shots rather than nude or topless shots.  Boudoir photography is there to give him something to tease him and excite him and let him know just how lucky he is to be marrying you !

Boudoir photoshoot normally last around 2 – 4 hours to allow for 2 or 3 changes of outfits etc.  After the photot shoot you will see proof’s online within   7 days and these will be hidden inside a password protected part of the website – ONLY you will have the address.  You can choose to have photos from your boudoir session, albums, pocket books or even large wall prints  / canvases / acrylic prints etc…

Very popular are little black books in either an 8×8 or 10×10 inch size with a collection of photos beautifully displayed within.
